Yeah Low Dots

 

French illustrator, residing in Seoul since 2009. I majored in Art History and Children Literature. Under the alias YEAH LOW DOTS a contraction of "Yeah" + yellow dots, reffering to smiley faces that I use as my "trademark", I draw small, cute and childlike styled illustrations. Often based on wordplays demonstrating my love for English, Korean and French languages. I illustrate my everyday life and thoughts as a millenial woman living in a megacity with candor, humor and sarcasm.

2009년부터 서울에 거주하고 있는 프랑스인 일러스트레이터로 미술사와 아동 문학을 전공하였습니다. 그녀는 "Yeah"와 yellow dots의 합성어인 YEAH LOW DOTS 이라는 명칭하에, 스마일 이모티콘을 그녀의 트레이드 마크로 하는 작고 귀여우면서 어린아이 같은 일러스트레이션을 선보이고 있습니다. 그녀의 작품들은 영어와 프랑스어, 그리고 한국어에 대한 사랑을 보여주는 단어유희를 기반으로 하는 경우가 많으며, 유머와 풍자 그리고 솔직함이 가득한 거대 도시에 살고 있는 밀레니얼 세대의 여성으로서 그녀의 일상과 생각을 담고 있습니다.
